SEND Teaching Assistant - Primary School - Reading
Full-time or Part-time Permanent Grade 3 SCP 5-6
Location: Reading, Berkshire
Start Date: As soon as possible

A wonderful primary school in Reading (RG6) is seeking a compassionate, proactive, and skilled SEND Teaching Assistant to join their friendly and inclusive team. This role offers both full-time (32.5hrs/week) and part-time (16.25hrs/week) opportunities, with flexible options for mornings or afternoons-ideal for those looking for a job share.

You will support pupils with special educational needs across EYFS, KS1, and KS2, helping to create a safe, inclusive and stimulating learning environment where all children can thrive. The role includes both classroom-based and 1:1 support, working closely with teachers and the SENDCo to deliver tailored interventions and promote pupil progress.

Contract Details:

  • Full-time: 32.5 hours/week, 8:30am - 3:30pm (30-minute unpaid lunch)

  • Part-time: 16.25 hours/week - flexible for mornings or afternoons

  • Permanent contract

  • Pay Scale: Grade 3 SCP 5-6
