Job description

We are seeking an experienced, adaptable, and committed SEND Teaching Assistant to join a all-aged SEND school in Stratford Upon Avon.

We pay £89.00 per day for this SEND Teaching Assistant role.

About the Role:
  1. Working closely with the SENCO and classroom teachers, your role will involve:
  • Supporting individual pupils or small groups with learning, behaviour, or emotional needs
  • Assisting with the implementation of EHCP targets and individual support plans
  • Adapting classroom materials to suit different learning styles and needs
  • Promoting positive behaviour, emotional regulation, and independence
  • Providing personal care or mobility support where required (training provided)
We’re Looking For Someone Who:
  • Has experience supporting children or young people with SEND
  • Builds strong, trusting relationships with pupils and staff
  • Is calm, reliable, and able to respond flexibly to the needs of the day
  • Has a positive, pupil-centred approach with clear boundaries
  • Works well as part of a team and takes initiative when needed
Desirable Qualifications and Experience:
  • A relevant Level 2/3 TA or SEN qualification
  • Experience with SEND
  • Previous experience in an educational or care setting
