Overview

Tradewind Recruitment are currently recruiting teaching assistants to work in an outstanding school in Mitcham to start ASAP. This school offers teaching assistants the opportunity to work in a lovely environment.

Responsibilities
  • Enjoy working with children of all ages, comfortable working with special needs and are passionate about making a positive impact in students' learning and development.
  • As a teaching assistant you will be working in small class sizes where you will follow a set curriculum developing speech & language, teach vocabulary and comprehension through visual resources, support students in core subjects such as numeracy and literacy and assist in creative lessons such as art, music, cooking and sensory play.
  • Follow a set curriculum and support students in core subjects (numeracy and literacy) and in creative lessons (art, music, cooking, sensory play).
  • Develop speech & language, vocabulary, and comprehension through visual resources.
  • Assist students with special needs (including autism, speech & language and learning difficulties) and support one-to-one learning where appropriate.
Role details
  • Monday to Friday
