Job summary

Aspire People are currently recruiting Teaching Assistants in Scunthorpe to provide focused support in classrooms and alongside SEN pupils on a long-term basis. You will assist with lesson delivery, adapt activities, and help create a safe, engaging learning environment.

The position suits someone with a genuine interest in helping children reach their potential, strong teamwork and communication skills, and flexibility. Relevant Level 2/3 TA qualifications are desirable but not essential.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a TA or similar support role in the UK.
  • Ability to support SEN pupils and adapt activities.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Willingness to participate in staff meetings and professional development.

Responsibilities

  • Provide classroom support to teachers, including assisting with lesson preparation and delivery.
  • Work with individual students or small groups to provide targeted support and intervention.

  • Collaborate with teaching staff and participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide classroom support to teachers, including assisting with lesson preparation and delivery.

Qualifications and Skills:
