Job summary

Corpus Christi Catholic Academy Trust invites applications for a full-time position (35 hours per week, term time only across 39 weeks) to support pupils with high needs within our Catholic ethos schools. You will work under the supervision of teachers, provide targeted support, assist with therapy programmes and ILPs, and help maintain a safe classroom and outdoor environment.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with children with high needs and EHCPs.
• Strong commitment to Catholic ethos of the school.
• Ability to work as part of a team in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for students who require help to overcome barriers to learning.
• Provide specialist support in a specific area of the curriculum.
• Work with groups of students under supervision of the teacher including delivery of therapy programmes and ILPs.
• Assist the teacher to ensure a safe classroom and outdoor environment.
• Supervise groups and occasionally whole classes as required.
