Location: Tipton, Dudley DY4
Day Rate: (Apply online only)
Days: Monday to Friday (Term Time Only)

Contract: Long-Term, Temp to Perm

Are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant ready to make a lasting difference? A welcoming primary school in Tipton, Dudley is seeking a dedicated SEN TA to provide 1:1 support for a child with additional needs.

This is a full-time, long-term position ideal for someone confident supporting children with autism, communication difficulties, or sensory needs. The role offers rewarding, hands-on experience in a nurturing school environment.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing 1:1 support for a pupil with SEN, helping them access learning
  • Supporting emotional regulation and classroom engagement
  • Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement support strategies
  • Encouraging progress through patience, consistency, and creative learning tools
  • Assisting with personal care and transitions if needed

  • Proven experience supporting children with SEN in a primary school setting

  • Ability to follow individual support plans and work as part of a team
