SEND Teaching Assistant - SK7, Stockport - September 2025 Start

Tradewind Recruitment is working with a welcoming Primary School in the SK7 area of Stockport, who are seeking a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join their team from September 2025.

This full-time, long-term role will involve working 1:1 with a child in KS2, providing tailored support to help them thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

Role Responsibilities
  • Provide personalised 1:1 support for a KS2 child with Special Educational Needs
  • Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement strategies and individual learning plans
  • Encourage independence, confidence, and positive behaviour
  • Support both in the classroom and during targeted interventions
What We\'re Looking For
  • Experience working with children with SEND (essential)
  • A patient, caring, and resilient approach
  • A Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (preferred but not essential)
