Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Nottingham
Pay: £13.68 - £14 per hour

About the role

Vision for Education is a leading education recruitment agency that works closely with primary, secondary and SEN schools across Nottinghamshire. We are currently recruiting for a Teaching Assistant in a school for children and young people with Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD).

Staff at the school are passionate about providing students with excellent learning experiences which cater to each individual s needs. Children are given every opportunity to thrive in a safe and positive environment.

As a Teaching Assistant you will need to be keen to inspire and support children from all backgrounds. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and previous experience working within an educational setting. You will work alongside class Teachers to deliver outstanding teaching and learning experiences. The ability to form strong positive relationships with children and colleagues and set high expectations from the outset are essential skills for this role.

Requirements

  • Experience working with children or young people, ideally in an SEN setting
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment
  • An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to apply for one)
