Job summary

TeacherActive is seeking SEND professionals for roles across South London, including SEND Teachers, Teaching Assistants, LSA/HLTA, and 1:1 Support staff. Roles offer daily supply, short-term, long-term and permanent placements to match availability.

You will work with pupils with needs such as autism, ADHD and SEMH, bringing patience, strong behaviour management and effective communication to the classroom. Enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain one is required.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting pupils with SEND and complex needs.
• Able to demonstrate strong behaviour management and communication.
• Patient, calm, and resilient with 1:1 support experience.
• Enhanced DBS check or willingness to obtain DBS.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with SEND within specialised education settings.
• Assist teachers in daily classroom activities and learning plans.
• Maintain safe, inclusive learning environments across placements.
