Tradewind Recruitment is seeking dedicated SEND Teaching Assistants in Shrewsbury to join a supportive team. You will work with pupils with a range of needs, providing 1:1 or small-group support in a specialist setting.

This daily supply role offers flexibility and potential longer-term placements, allowing you to build meaningful relationships with pupils and staff while making a positive impact every day.

Qualifications

• Experience in supporting children with SEND.
• Flexible and confident in adapting to a variety of needs and routines.
• Proactive, using initiative to support learning in the classroom.
• Based locally in the Oldbury area or able to commute easily.

Responsibilities

• Supporting pupils with severe and complex needs on a 1:1 basis or in small groups.
• Assisting the class teacher with individualised learning activities.
• Supporting pupils with communication, engagement, and personal development, behaviour managment.
• Helping to maintain a positive, structured, and safe learning environment.
