Job summary

Class Act Teaching Services is seeking dedicated SEND Teaching Assistants to support pupils with special educational needs across a variety of school settings. These flexible, full-time or part-time positions start as soon as possible.

You will work with teachers, SENCOs, and support staff, implementing IEPs, promoting inclusive learning, and helping pupils develop socially, academically and emotionally. DBS checks and training will be provided as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children with SEND in an educational setting.
• Strong patience and empathy with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide tailored support to pupils with SEND within diverse school settings.
• Assist teachers in delivering inclusive lessons and adapting resources.
• Support pupils' social, emotional, and academic development.
• Assist with implementing individual education plans (IEPs) under guidance of staff.
• Promote a safe and positive learning environment and collaborate with SENCOs and support staff.
