An opportunity has become available for an SEN Teaching Assistant to join a primary school in Haringey to support a child in their nursery with Special Educational Needs.

The Role

In this role, you will provide 1 to 1 support for a child with developmental and communication needs. The child is in nursery and requires support in all aspects of attending school, including personal care. You will support the pupil within the classroom, outdoor play areas, and during other times in the school day such as lunch. Your responsibilities include helping the child engage in play activities and socialise with peers.

You will work closely with the class teacher and SENCO on progress reporting.

The school seeks a confident SEN teaching assistant with previous experience supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs or in a care role for young children, comfortable providing 1 to 1 support for a child.
