Job summary

Protocol Education is recruiting a SEND Teaching Assistant in Alnwick to provide tailored 1:1 support for pupils with Autism and complex learning needs. Due to location, a driver with own vehicle is essential. This is a full‑time, long‑term role with weekly PAYE pay and ongoing training.

You will support learning across the day, encourage independence, assist with communication and social development, and work closely with teachers and specialist staff to promote emotional wellbeing.

• Experience working with SEND pupils, including autism and complex learning needs.
• Ability to adapt approaches to individual pupil needs.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Looking for a rewarding SEND role in a specialist school setting?

A specialist SEND provision in Alnwick is seeking a SEND Teaching Assistant to support pupils with Autism, complex learning needs and communication difficulties.

Due to the location of the school and limited public transport routes, applicants must hold a full UK driving licence and have access to their own vehicle.

£92.63 - £105 per day
