Job summary

Aim High Academy Trust seeks a committed, flexible Teaching Assistant to support learners with SEND and contribute to high-quality teaching. You will work as part of our school team to help create an inclusive learning environment.

The post is 32.5 hours per week (8:30–15:30), term time plus inset days, fixed-term until 31 August 2027, funded by EHCP arrangements. A Level 2 TA qualification or equivalent is required, with SCP 5-6 salary.

Qualifications

• Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
• Grade 2 SCP 5-6 (£26,427 - £26,847 pro rata)

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of teaching and learning with a focus on SEND.
• Be an outstanding practitioner with high expectations for all children, with a SEND focus.
• Communicate effectively and collaborate with colleagues.
• Contribute to the corporate life of the school and informal curriculum.
