Job summary

The Kingsley School in Leamington Spa is seeking a SEND Teaching Assistant for the secondary school to support pupils’ learning, wellbeing and emotional development. The post-holder will be patient, nurturing and adaptable, and will work with teachers, parents and external professionals to help pupils with SEND overcome barriers to learning and develop independence. Hours: 35 per week.

Salary: £22,762 per annum pro-rata (FTE £30,181). Closing date: 2nd November.

The Kingsley School is seeking to appoint a Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant to support our secondary school to support pupils’ learning, wellbeing and emotional development.

The post-holder will be a patient, nurturing and adaptable individual who is passionate about helping children thrive. They will provide targeted, high-quality and adaptive support for pupils with SEND, including those with Autism and social, emotional and mental health needs, developing a communication friendly environment. In this rewarding role, the successful applicant will work closely with teachers, parents and external professionals to support pupils in overcoming barriers to learning, developing independence and achieving their full potential.

Hours of Work : 35 hours per week

Pay : £22,762 per annum pro-rata (FTE : £30,181 per annum)

Location : The Kingsley School, Leamington Campus

Reporting Lines : The post holder will report to the Assistant Head of Support and Safeguarding.
