Are you an experienced SEND Learning Support Assistant looking to make a real difference in the lives of young people? Do you have a passion for supporting students with a variety of complex needs?

At TeacherActive, we re proud to work with SEND schools and alternative provision settings across Liverpool, and we re currently recruiting dedicated Learning Support Assistants to join our growing team.

We re supporting students with a wide range of needs, including:

• Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)

• Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH)

• Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)

• Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD)

• Medical Needs

• Speech, Language and Communication Difficulties

• Trauma and attachment-related behaviours

This is a varied and rewarding role where no two days are the same. You may be supporting students within SEND schools or on a 1:1 basis through alternative provision, working with children and young people who are not currently attending school.

To be considered for this role, you must have:

• A minimum of 6 months experience supporting children or young people with SEND

• A calm, patient, and empathetic approach to behaviour management and emotional support

• A genuine passion for supporting students with additional needs

• The ability to build positive and trusting relationships
