Trials Happening ASAP Are you passionate about supporting children with special educational needs? A warm and welcoming mainstream primary school in Kingston is currently seeking a SEND Teaching Assistant to join their Year 2 team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a dynamic classroom environment and is committed to making a positive impact on pupils' learning and development.

Responsibilities
  • Supporting multiple pupils with a range of SEN needs
  • Working closely with the class teacher to adapt resources and deliver tailored interventions
  • Supporting pupils in and out of the classroom, encouraging positive behaviour and engagement
  • Assisting with classroom routines, activities, and small group learning
  • Helping create an inclusive and supportive learning environment
Requirements
  • Experience working with children with SEND (in a school or childcare setting)
  • A proactive and nurturing attitude
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Child-Only Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply for one)
  • Full-time availability (Monday to Friday, 8:30am–3:30pm)
  • Able to commute to Kingston or be based in Kingston or surrounding areas
