Long Term Futures is recruiting a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a specialist school in Crawley, RH10. You will provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils aged 5-18, assisting with differentiated learning activities and helping pupils meet targets in their EHCPs.

The role requires patience, adaptability and confidence in supporting pupils with diverse needs, including emotional regulation and sensory support.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in a specialist SEN school or SEND setting is advantageous.
• Able to support pupils aged 5-18 with patience and adaptability.
• Knowledge of PECS, Makaton, AAC or visual communication is beneficial.

Location: Crawley, RH10 - commutable from Three Bridges, Horley, East Grinstead and surrounding areas

Pay: Competitive salary, dependent on experience

Start Date: ASAP

Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30am-4:00pm

Long Term Futures is recruiting a dedicated and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join a specialist SEN school in Crawley, RH10, on a full-time, permanent basis.

This is an all-through specialist school supporting pupils aged 5-18, offering the opportunity to work with children and young people at different stages of their education and development.

The school provides individualised education for pupils with a range of special educational needs, and we're looking for someone who is patient, adaptable and confident supporting pupils who require additional guidance, structure and encouragement.

This position would suit an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant or Learning Support Assistant who is looking to establish a long-term career within specialist education.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Experience within a specialist SEN school, alternative provision or SEND setting would be advantageous
• Confident supporting pupils across different age groups and developmental stages
• Experience providing 1:1 support and managing challenging or dysregulated behaviour
• Knowledge of PECS, Makaton, AAC or visual communication strategies would be beneficial
• Proactive, enthusiastic and confident working as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Committed to a full-time, permanent position
