Your role & responsibilities:

  • Support Individual Learning: Provide tailored one-to-one or small group support to pupils with SEND, helping them access the curriculum and achieve their learning goals.
  • Implement EHCPs and Support Plans: Assist in delivering strategies and interventions outlined in Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) or individual support plans.
  • Promote Inclusion and Engagement: Encourage pupil participation in class activities, fostering social interaction, independence, and confidence within a mainstream setting.
  • Collaborate with Staff and Professionals: Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and external specialists to monitor progress, share observations, and adapt support as needed.
  • Must have recent experience working within a primary or specialist SEND school.
  • Must be able to provide a minimum of two references from the past two years.
  • Must possess good numeracy and literacy skills.
