Position: Special Needs Teacher (Supply)

Type: Full-Time, Day-to-Day & Long-Term Assignments

Role

Location: Coventry area – Cool and welcoming Special Needs Schools

Contract Type: Full-time - day-to-day or long-term placements (you choose!)

Start Date: ASAP

Salary: Competitive rates

Responsibilities
  • Creating lesson plans that help students shine in their own unique ways
  • Offering one-on-one support to students with a range of needs (Autism, ADHD, Learning Disabilities, etc.)
  • Shaping minds and creating a safe, inclusive space where every student can thrive
  • Working with other staff to deliver individualized learning plans (IEPs)
  • Helping students build confidence, tackle challenges, and celebrate progress
  • Using creativity and passion to keep lessons engaging and meaningful
Qualifications and Requirements
  • QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
  • Experience working with SEN students and a commitment to accessible learning
  • Patience, creativity, and the ability to engage students
  • Strong classroom management skills
  • DBS check – DBS must be on the update service or candidate willing to obtain one
  • Bonus points for experience with Autism, ADHD, or Dyslexia; training available
