Job Title: SEND Teacher
Location: Manchester
Salary: Competitive, based on experience
Start Date: 1st September 2025

We are working alongside a dedicated Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) school committed to providing a nurturing and inclusive environment for students with diverse learning needs. The school is passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of our students and supporting their educational and personal development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons that meet the needs of students with SEND.
  • Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students, in collaboration with other staff and external professionals.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback to students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes the social and emotional well-being of students.
  • Work closely with teaching assistants and other support staff to ensure a holistic approach to student development.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in SEND education.
  • Communicate effectively with parents, carers, and external agencies to support student learning and development.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience working with children with SEND in an educational setting.
  • Strong understanding of SEND best practices and strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting students with SEND.
