Area: Rochdale, Manchester
Start Date: ASAP / October 2025
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: MPS/UPS + SEN Allowance (dependent on experience and responsibilities)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 4:00pm

About the Role
  • Deliver high-quality, personalised teaching for pupils across KS2-KS4, with a focus on complex needs
  • Plan, adapt, and differentiate engaging lessons to meet EHCP outcomes, developmental milestones, and sensory requirements
  • Support pupils\' holistic development—academic, social, emotional, and communication skills
  • Collaborate closely with the SENCO, learning support staff, therapists, and families to provide a consistent and effective approach
  • Monitor pupil progress, contribute to reports, and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
What We're Looking For
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience teaching in an SEN setting, or strong SEND knowledge within mainstream education
  • A calm, resilient, and empathetic approach to behaviour management and complex needs
  • Passion for inclusive education and a commitment to supporting every pupil\'s progress
  • Creativity, patience, and ability to develop personalised, meaningful learning experiences

  • Hold the Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service (or be willing to apply)
  • Provide two professional child-related references
