SEND Teacher (Secondary) - Coventry
Salary: MPS/UPS + SEN Allowance
Location: Coventry
Contract Type: Full Time, Permanent
Start Date: September 2025 (or sooner by negotiation)

Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities? We are seeking an inspiring and dedicated SEND Teacher to join our supportive and inclusive secondary provision in Coventry.

About the Role:
This is a unique opportunity for a committed and enthusiastic teacher to support pupils aged 11-16 with a range of SEND needs, including autism, speech and language difficulties, and social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) challenges. You will deliver a tailored curriculum that prioritises personal development, life skills, and academic achievement.

Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver high-quality, differentiated lessons to meet individual EHCP targets

Create a safe, supportive and engaging learning environment

Work closely with a multidisciplinary team including TAs, therapists and external agencies

Build positive relationships with parents, carers and the wider school community

Contribute to whole-school development and inclusive practices

About You:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Experience teaching pupils with SEND, ideally in a secondary setting

Strong understanding of inclusive pedagogy and behaviour support

Compassionate, resilient, and highly motivated

Committed to ongoing professional development and collaboration
