Are you a compassionate and dedicated teacher with experience teaching students with SEND, particularly those with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) difficulties?

Supply Desk are partnering with a dedicated SEND school in Chatham, renowned for its commitment to supporting students with SEMH and other SEND needs. We are looking for a dynamic, nurturing, and skilled SEND Teacher to join their team immediately. This is a full-time role with the potential for a permanent position for the right candidate.

The Role:

As a SEND Teacher, you will play an essential role in delivering a tailored curriculum for students with a range of SEND needs. You will work with small class sizes, ensuring that each student receives the support they need to succeed academically, socially, and emotionally. This role requires a teacher with patience, creativity, and a deep understanding of how to support students with SEMH needs.

What We re Looking For:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching students with SEND, including those with SEMH difficulties.
  • A science specialism is desirable, but not essential.
  • A compassionate, patient, and innovative approach to teaching and behaviour management.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with colleagues, parents, and external professionals.
  • The ability to create a nurturing and structured learning environment that fosters success for all students.
