Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have QTS and SEND teaching experience.
• Knowledge of SEND legislation and the SEND Code of Practice.
• Strong understanding of school curriculum and assessment processes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to inclusive education and making a difference.
• Flexibility and adaptability; able to work as part of a team.
• Ability to engage with parents and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualised education programs (IEPs) with parents and professionals.
• Deliver differentiated instruction to meet diverse needs.
• Subject lead for assigned pathway area in collaboration with curriculum leads.
• Develop practice through CPD and collaborative work.
• Maintain a safe and supportive learning environment.
• Communicate progress with parents and attend meetings.
• Contribute to SEND provision and school improvement.
• Maintain accurate student records and documentation.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team.
