Job summary

School of Coding & AI in Wolverhampton is seeking two teachers to deliver GCSE and Functional Skills across English, Mathematics and Science, adapting to learners with disrupted education and additional needs.

You will plan differentiated lessons, track progress, and support learners with targeted interventions, exam preparation and progression into further education or training. A genuine passion for helping learners succeed is essential.

Qualifications

• Essential QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Strong subject knowledge in English, Mathematics and/or Science.
• Experience working with learners with SEND, SEMH or additional needs.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons across English, Mathematics and/or science.
• Teach GCSE and Functional Skills, helping learners work towards meaningful qualifications.
• Create personalised learning plans based on individual strengths, needs and goals.
• Track progress, identify gaps and adapt teaching to improve outcomes.
• Prepare learners for examinations through targeted intervention and revision.
• Build positive relationships that encourage confidence, motivation and independence.
• Create a calm, safe and structured environment where learners can succeed.
• Work closely with support staff, parents/careers and external professionals.
• Support learners with their next steps into further education, apprenticeships, employment or training.
• Use digital tools and educational technology to enhance learning and monitor progress.
