Job summary

TeacherActive is seeking a dedicated SEND Teacher to support students aged 7 to 16 with Specific Learning Differences (SpLD) in Glastonbury. The role is a daily supply position with responsibilities including delivering engaging lessons and planning progress assessments.

QTS is required. You will work with a supportive team, implementing adaptive teaching strategies to foster an inclusive classroom and help every student reach their potential.

Qualifications

• QTS required.
• Experience teaching children or young people with SEND, especially SpLD.
• Strong knowledge of adaptive teaching strategies and differentiated learning.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• Patient, flexible and nurturing approach.
• Genuine passion for helping every student achieve their full potential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons that meet individual learning needs.
• Plan and assess progress for students aged 7 to 16.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
