Job summary

TeacherActive is partnering with a SEND provision in Manchester to recruit a SEND Teacher from December for a full-time role. The post covers pupils aged 5 to 19 across all Key Stages, supporting individuals with Autism/ASD, Learning Difficulties/LD and ADD while delivering engaging lessons.

The successful candidate will hold QTS (ECTs welcome), have SEND experience and a patient, resilient, adaptable approach focused on independence and personal development.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience working with children and young people with SEND
• Experience supporting pupils with Autism/ASD, LD or ADD

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons across all Key Stages for pupils aged 5–19
• Support pupils with SEND to develop academically, socially and emotionally
• Provide consistent classroom support and contribute to personal development
