A leading provider of specialist education is seeking a qualified SEN Teacher to join a dedicated team at Wessex Lodge School. Salary: From GBP31,650.00 per annum
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Contract: Permanent, Term Time Only

We have a fantastic opportunity for a qualified SEN Teacher to join our close-knit team at Wessex Lodge School, part of Acorn Education. You will have a passion for making a difference in the lives of pupils with autism, learning difficulties, and complex needs. Your responsibilities include planning and delivering engaging lessons, developing innovative teaching methods, and supporting students' personal development and wellbeing.
You should be a passionate teacher and a great communicator, comfortable working with pupils with diverse needs and contributing to the school's vision. Our schools offer a unique environment with various opportunities and resources. Building caring relationships with pupils and liaising with professionals are essential aspects of this role.
Wessex Lodge School comprises three sites in Kilmington, Frome, and Maiden Bradley, offering a range of curriculum paths and activities. Our students aged 6-18 have individual needs, supported by the THRIVE approach and skilled staff. We welcome applicants with interests or qualifications in animal care, horticulture, construction, outdoor education, forestry, or other trades.
