SEN Teacher

Salary: £30,000 - £44,000

Location: Northamptonshire

Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teacher to support learners with special educational needs and ensure every student achieves their full potential.

Role Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging lessons tailored to learners with SEN needs, ensuring all students can access the curriculum.
  • Oversee the day-to-day implementation of the school\'s SEND policy to raise student achievement.
  • Coordinate and attend EHCP reviews, supporting staff, parents, and external agencies in delivering effective provision.
  • Monitor student progress, analyse data, and put strategies in place to meet individual needs.
  • Provide guidance and support to colleagues in developing inclusive teaching strategies.
  • Act as a role model, inspiring students and staff to maintain high expectations and positive outcomes.
Essential Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or willingness to work towards this.
  • Experience of teaching and supporting students with SEN needs.
  • Strong organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice and experience of EHCP processes.
  • Enhanced DBS check.
  • SENCO qualification or experience in a SEN leadership role (Desired but not essential).
