Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver engaging Business and Economics lessons across KS4 and KS5
• Plan, prepare and assess in line with national curriculum and exam board criteria
• Use data and assessment effectively to monitor progress and set targets
• Maintain high expectations for pupil behaviour, effort, and achievement
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of departmental resources and curriculum
• Support enrichment activities including enterprise projects and careers events
• Engage in whole-school CPD, staff briefings, and parents’ evenings
• Foster a learning environment that promotes curiosity, confidence, and independence

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
• UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent overseas qualification
• A degree in Business, Economics, or a related field
• Experience teaching both Business and/or Economics at GCSE and A Level
• Strong understanding of assessment practices and curriculum content
• Excellent behaviour management and high expectations for all learners
• An inclusive and creative approach to teaching and learning
• A desire to contribute to whole school life and extracurricular provision
• Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative, professional attitude
