Overview

Do you have a passion for supporting children and young people with severe learning disabilities? Are you knowledgeable about the EYFS framework and eager to make a real difference? Simply Education is recruiting a compassionate and experienced SEND Teacher on behalf of a dedicated SEND school in Lincoln. This full-time role offers the opportunity to teach students with severe learning disabilities, contributing significantly to their learning, development, and overall well-being. The role has the potential to lead to a permanent position.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons tailored to the individual needs of students with severe learning disabilities.
  • Implement individualised education plans (IEPs) and track student progress.
  • Support students in accessing the curriculum and developing essential life skills.
  • Foster a positive, safe, and stimulating learning environment.
  • Utilise knowledge of the EYFS framework to support early learning goals.
  • Work collaboratively with therapists, support staff, and parents to provide holistic support.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of school policies and procedures.
About You / Qualifications
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience working with children and young people with severe learning disabilities.
  • A strong understanding of the EYFS framework.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to support others.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
