Job description

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated SEND Teacher to join a supportive and inclusive school community. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality, tailored education to pupils with a range of special educational needs, ensuring they are supported to achieve their full potential academically, socially, and emotionally. Starting September 2025.

Duties as SEND Teacher:

1. Plan and deliver differentiated lessons to meet a variety of learning needs.
2. Use EHCPs to guide personalised learning and support plans.
3. Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, and families.
4. Monitor and assess pupil progress, maintaining accurate records.
5. Create a positive and nurturing classroom environment that promotes independence and self-esteem.
6. Contribute to the wider life of the school and uphold its inclusive ethos.

Ideal SEND Teacher:

1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
2. Experience working with children with SEND, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and/or complex learning needs.
3. Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills as a SEND Teacher.
4. Patient, flexible, and committed to supporting all learners.
5. Strong communication skills and ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.
