Are you an SEN Teaching Assistant (TA) looking for a long-term role starting in September?

Do you want to further your career supporting children who need additional help?

I am recruiting SEN Teaching Assistants across South and Central Birmingham and surrounding areas.

If you have experience working with Special Needs in a school or other settings, including care, we want to hear from you! The schools we work with have roles involving high levels of Autism, Learning Difficulties, Challenging Behaviour, Dyslexia, ADHD, SEMH, and more.

As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
  1. Support pupils within the classroom, in small groups, and 1:1.
  2. Use positive reinforcement techniques and behaviour-based instruction confidently.
  3. Follow children's specialized support plans to help them reach their full potential.
  4. Assist the teacher within the classroom, which may include marking and delivering lessons.
Ideal Candidate:
  • Relevant qualifications (Level 2 or 3 in childhood studies or TA course).
  • Relevant experience, including within a SEN school.
  • Additional SEN training certificates (such as MAPA, Mackaton, Team Teach).
  • Genuine interest in supporting children with additional needs.
  • Care experience, including personal care.
