Prospero Teaching is looking for a passionate SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with complex needs in a resource base provision within a Primary School in South Birmingham.
The school is an OFSTED rated Good mainstream Primary School with a supportive senior leadership team. They are looking for enthusiastic and nurturing SEN support staff who can develop good relationships with children with additional needs.
This is a full-time role to start ASAP and will continue for the rest of the academic year.
Previous experience working with special needs, challenging behaviour, and personal care assistance is essential – the ideal candidate will have previously worked in a SEN school setting or provision.

Minimum rate of pay – Minimum rate GBP85 per day
Hours – 8:30 – 3:30 (full day)
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualifications
Previous experience working in a UK school – in either permanent or long-term roles
Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide two professional child related references that cover the last two years
