SEN Teaching Assistant - September Start
Location: Bristol
Start Date: September 2025
Contract Type: Full-time, Term-time
Salary: GBP85 - GBP105 per day (depending on experience)

We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team from September 2025, supporting children across Early Years, KS1 or KS2 with additional learning needs including Autism, ADHD, Speech and Language Difficulties, and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

What you'll be doing:
- Providing 1:1 and small group support tailored to individual learning plans
- Assisting the class teacher in delivering engaging and accessible lessons
- Supporting pupils with their emotional regulation and social development
- Implementing EHCP strategies and working closely with SENCOs and external professionals
- Creating a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment where every child can thrive

About you:
- Previous experience supporting children with SEN (school, nursery or care setting)
- Calm, patient, and resilient approach
- A genuine passion for working with children with diverse needs
- Understanding of Autism, ADHD, and communication difficulties
- Team player with excellent communication skills

Desirable:
- Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification (or equivalent)
- Experience with PECS, Makaton, or sensory-based strategies
- Knowledge of EHCP processes or working towards targets
