Keep Education is currently recruiting a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to support students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) in schools across Leighton Buzzard. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a rewarding, supportive role, helping SEND students to thrive and achieve their best in an inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with SEND
• Assist with the implementation of individualised learning plans and activities
• Support students' emotional, social, and behavioural development
• Promote a positive, inclusive learning environment in the classroom
• Work closely with teachers and other professionals to meet students' needs
• Report on student progress and contribute to the development of teaching strategies
• Ensure that students remain engaged and focused during lessons

What We’re Looking For:
• Experience working with children, ideally in a SEND or educational setting
• Understanding of various SEND conditions and the ability to adapt support strategies
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Patience, empathy, and a proactive approach to student support
• A DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one)
