Job summary

Teaching Personnel Ltd. is seeking a SEND Teaching Assistant in Warrington to support pupils with autism, ADHD, and high needs. The role combines classroom assistance with personal care responsibilities, working closely with teachers and SENCOs to meet each pupil's needs.

Qualifications

• Relevant teaching assistant qualifications or equivalent.
• Experience with autism/ADHD preferred.
• Willingness to undertake DBS check.

Responsibilities

• Assist with learning activities and classroom tasks.
• Implement behaviour and communication strategies with pupils.
• Support pupils to develop independent skills throughout the day.
• Provide personal care when required and under supervision.
• Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs and support staff to meet pupil needs.
