SEND Support Worker | Newcastle Upon Tyne | Year 5 | Immediate Start

Calling all inspiring educators! We’re looking for a dedicated SEND Support Worker to join a warm and welcoming school in Newcastle.

This friendly primary school in Newcastle loves to create a warm and welcoming environment, making every learner, educator and staff member feel appreciated and supported. About the Role:

As a Year 5SEND Support Worker, you’ll be a vital part of a close-knit team in a welcoming primary school in central Newcastle. You’ll be supporting pupils with special educational needs, helping them navigate their learning journey with confidence and positivity.

  • Core hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 – 16:00
  • Start date: Immediate start

  • You understand that progress looks different for every child.
  • You have experience working with people with SEND.
  • You can engage with children, parents, and staff alike, making everyone feel supported.
  • You think on your feet and have excellent communication skills
  • Passionate about helping SEND children reach their full potential
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to get one)
