Job summary

Marylebone Services is recruiting for a dedicated Early Years Educator to support a child with SEND while contributing to the main room. You will work in a friendly team, providing targeted support in line with the EHCP and promoting inclusive practice.

The role requires a Level 3+ qualification and extensive SEND experience, with a valid right to work in the UK. A supportive leadership team and on-site SENCO are available to assist.

Qualifications

  • Level 3 qualification in Early Years (or equivalent).
  • Extensive experience supporting children with SEND.
  • Experience supporting vision impairment or global delay desirable.
  • Valid right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

  • Provide individualised support in line with the child’s EHCP.
  • Support the child’s learning, communication, and development through play-based activities.
  • Adapt activities and environments to meet sensory and developmental needs.
  • Work closely with the room team, SENCO, and external professionals.
  • Support and engage all children in the room when appropriate.
  • Promote inclusion and ensure the child feels safe, valued, and supported.

Job description

Hours: Full-Time, 38.75 hours per week (Year-Round, Monday to Friday)

Shifts: Alternating weekly patterns between 7:45 am and 6:15 pm

Marylebone Services is proud to recruit for a friendly and supportive nursery team in Telegraph Hill. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Level 3 or above Early Years Educator with extensive experience in supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

This is a mixed role. You will provide targeted support for a child with vision impairment and global developmental delay, while also working within the main room to support all children and contribute fully as part of the team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualised support in line with the child’s Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP).
  • Support the child’s learning, communication, and development through play-based activities.
  • Adapt activities and environments to meet sensory and developmental needs.
  • Work closely with the room team, SENCO, and external professionals.
  • Support and engage all children in the room when appropriate.
  • Promote inclusion and ensure the child feels safe, valued, and supported.
  • Full and relevant Level 3 qualification in Early Years (or equivalent).
  • Extensive experience working with children with SEND.
  • Valid right to work in the UK (mandatory).
  • Good understanding of EHCPs and inclusive practice.
  • Experience supporting children with vision impairment and/or global delay is highly desirable.
