Job summary

Hackney New Primary School in London is recruiting a Teaching Assistant (SEND Support Hub) to work 36.5 hours per week during term time. The role focuses on supporting pupils with SEND within the school’s SEND Hub, delivering targeted interventions and helping learners access the curriculum.

The successful candidate will have experience with children and a passion for inclusive education, building strong relationships with pupils, families and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with SEND within the SEND Support Hub/Resource Provision, enabling access to learning and independence.
• Deliver targeted support, structured interventions and promote positive engagement in school life.
• Collaborate with teachers, the SENDCo and the SEND Provision Team to tailor high-quality support.
