Location: Denton Burn, Newcastle Upon Tyne
Contract: Full-time, Long-Term
Salary: £89.38–£95 per day (PAYE)

We’re working with a brilliant primary school in Denton Burn who are looking for a dedicated SEND Support Assistant to join their team from September. This is a full-time, long-term role supporting pupils with complex SEND needs including autism, SEMH (Social, Emotional & Mental Health), and communication differences.

What you’ll be doing

• Providing 1:1 and small group support for pupils with high SEND needs
• Supporting emotional regulation and behaviour management strategies
• Helping pupils access learning in their own way, at their own pace
• Working closely with teachers, SENCOs, therapists, and families
