Tradewind Recruitment LTD. is seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant with strong behaviour management and de-escalation skills for a behavioural support role in Salford. The position involves 1:1 mentoring, supporting learning decisions, and promoting attendance alongside EHWB support.

You will work with pupils outside of the classroom, liaising with parents and carers, and coordinating small group interventions as required. DBS, overseas clearances if applicable, and references are mandatory.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in Team Teach or similar de-escalation strategies.
• Level 2 or Level 3 teaching support qualification.
• DBS disclosure and background checks required.
• Right to work in the UK.

Aufgaben

• Work with pupils outside classroom for behavioural support, including those excluded or not on timetable.
• Develop 1:1 mentoring arrangements to agree on plans and targets.
• Provide information to help pupils choose about learning, behaviour and attendance.
• Support pupils' emotional health and well-being (EHWB).
• Involve helping pupils follow Education Plans and run small group interventions like circle time.
• Liaise with parents and carers as appropriate.
