Qualifications

• Experience or qualifications in Learning Support, Teaching Assistance, SEND, Education, Health & Social Care, Youth Work, Childcare, Psychology or a similar field would be beneficial but are not essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide positive one-to-one and small-group support.
• Support pupils to access and enjoy their education.
• Work alongside teachers and experienced support staff.
• Encourage confidence, independence and communication.
• Build positive and trusting relationships with young people.
• Support pupils with their individual learning and development.
• Encourage participation in educational, practical and wider activities.
• Help develop communication, social and life skills.
• Provide consistent encouragement and reassurance.
• Celebrate progress and achievements.
• Work collaboratively with the wider education and support team.
• Contribute to a positive, inclusive and welcoming environment.
