An established industry player is seeking two experienced SEND Service Managers to lead teams dedicated to supporting children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). We are looking for 2 solution-focused and experienced SEND Service Managers who have experience managing a statutory SEND service through a time of rapid improvement and change. One role will be focused on early years and primary, and one on secondary and preparing for adulthood phases.
The SEND Service Manager develops, supports, and champions partnership working across the County. They oversee in excess of 1200 children and young people within their portfolio, managing a team to ensure children and young people achieve positive outcomes through well-planned, integrated, and coordinated services.
The SEND Service Manager is responsible for meeting all service targets and national performance indicators. They ensure the Statutory SEND Team is proactive and creative, working in a solution-focused manner, making a positive difference to the outcomes for children, young people, and their families.
Role Purpose:
The SEND Service Manager plays a crucial role in embedding best practice within their team and developing relationships with key stakeholders. They are responsible for improving the quality of life for children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) in Bath and North East Somerset.
