Job summary

Aspire People is recruiting a SEND & SEMH Support Assistant to join a supportive UK primary school in Salford. You will provide 1:1 and small-group support, helping pupils with autism, ADHD, SEMH and communication needs access learning, while building confidence and independence.

Working alongside the class teacher, you will deliver intervention sessions and support emotional wellbeing and behaviour management, fostering an inclusive environment where every child can thrive.

Qualifications

• Recent UK primary school experience within the last 2 years.
• Experience supporting pupils with SEND and SEMH needs.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Providing 1:1 and small-group support to pupils.
