SEND Secondary Teacher – Bradford & Calderdale
Location: Bradford and Calderdale, West Yorkshire

Are you a committed and compassionate teacher with experience supporting students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND)? Academics are currently recruiting passionate SEND Secondary Teachers to join our team for flexible supply roles across the Bradford and Calderdale areas.

About the Role:

We are looking for skilled SEND Teachers who can deliver differentiated and inclusive lessons across KS3 and KS4 in both mainstream and specialist settings. These roles offer flexibility and variety, making them perfect for experienced SEND teachers or those with a strong interest in supporting additional needs in secondary education.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Teaching students with a range of SEND, including autism, ADHD, SEMH, and MLD
*

Creating a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
*

Working closely with support staff, SENCOs, and parents/carers
*

Managing behaviour positively and effectively
*

Delivering tailored lessons that meet EHCP targets and learning needs

Who We’re Looking For:
