London Borough of Tower Hamlets is seeking an experienced Commissioning Manager to lead the SEND Reform Programme, shaping high-quality services across education, health and social care.

This is a 2-year fixed-term contract offering an exciting opportunity to lead strategic commissioning activity that supports inclusion, early intervention, specialist support and better outcomes for children, young people and families.

Qualifications

• Significant commissioning, transformation or strategic planning experience.
• Strong partnership and analytical skills; able to influence system-wide change.
• Excellent understanding of children’s services and SEND; passion for outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development, procurement and management of SEND services.
• Collaborate with schools, health partners, providers, families and young people to design innovative solutions.
• Use data, co-production and needs analysis to ensure services deliver value for money and are responsive.
