Job summary

Elementa Support Services is seeking a SEND/PSHE specialist to teach PSHE in a secondary/specialist setting at Wedmore, Somerset. The role offers a temp-perm arrangement with daily pay rates of £168.80–£243.45.

The ideal candidate will hold QTS and have experience delivering PSHE to learners with diverse needs, including EHCP considerations. Start date is 01/09/2026, with full-time hours and weekly PAYE payroll.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is required.
• Experience teaching PSHE in a SEND, secondary, or specialist setting.
• Strong PSHE knowledge across the curriculum, including wellbeing and life skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, structured PSHE lessons meeting diverse needs.
• Differentiate activities to support pupils with EHCPs and varied learning needs.
• Work with support staff, external professionals and parents to support learners.
