Job Role: Primary SEND Teacher

Salary: Starting from £130 per day

Contract: Full-time, Temporary with the opportunity to go permanent for the right candidate.

Are you a dedicated educator with a passion for making a difference? Simply Education is thrilled to announce a fantastic opportunity for a SEND Primary School Teacher to join a SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) school in the Boston area.

About the Role:

As a SEND Primary Teacher in this SEMH school, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting and nurturing students with diverse social, emotional, and mental health needs. Your primary responsibility will be to deliver engaging lessons tailored to meet the individual requirements of each student, ensuring a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Delivering engaging lessons tailored to the needs of SEMH students.
  • Providing pastoral support and guidance to students.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to create a positive learning environment.
  • Implementing effective behaviour management strategies.
  • Planning and marking lessons in accordance with school guidelines.

Key Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification.
  • Demonstrated experience or understanding of working with students with SEMH needs.
  • Strong behaviour management skills and a compassionate, empathetic approach.
  • Ability to plan and deliver creative lessons to engage students effectively.
  • Commitment to supporting the holistic development of each student.
